Not a good day in the office with the longing to be somewhere far, far away and things progressively dampening my mood! My bank, my bills and my home.........It just never seems to stop!
In fact far, far away wouldn't be far enough but, at least I would be in a beautiful place.
Yes in the midst of my dis pare I remembered my wonderful evenings in Punta Gorda sitting at the bar drinking Pina Colada's with a very wonderful person.
I have to tell you Benedetto's is a bar come restaurant that sits on the edge of the water. It offers stunning views and the food is just plentiful.
While the atmosphere smolders and the bar is buzzing it also offers one of the most value for money place to go out and eat. (Have to add unless the wind whips up and the rain comes down that is - be warned to stay near side if this is the case to avoid a drenching!)
Seriously the food is fantastic. It offers a more exclusive bar but if you want atmosphere and value and not the local spit and sawdust then this place is a must. Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised and be left feeling very satisfied.
I have to say - I can hear it calling ..........
